Location
The photo was taken in a small mining town called Victor, Colorado.Time
The time of time was at 1252 in the afternoon.Lighting
Used the natural light. As you can see in the image it was a cloudy day.Equipment
The camera I used was a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi with the exposure at 1/200 at f/9 and the ISO at 400, the lens was a Canon EF 18-55mm with a focal length of 18mm and a circular polarizer. I did use a tripod and had it set as low as it would go.Inspiration
When I was a young boy I saw this tow truck around Victor towing vehicles and now it just sits there beside the garage. pretty much everytime I drive by this old tow truck I have to photograph it. It's like I am drawn to it. Photographing old cars inspires me. The abandoned ones are my favorite to photograph and it makes me wonder what there story was to being abandoned where the sit.Editing
I did do some post processing. I put it in Photomatix , adjusted the saturation, highlights, contrast and than I tone mapped it.In my camera bag
Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi, Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi, Canon EF 18-55mm,EF Canon 75-300mmFeedback
When I photograph cars or truck I like to get as low as possible because I just like that point of view. I also try to photograph the vehicle looking at the corner of it giving me the side and the front of the vehicle.
