We were traveling on an US Forest Service road deep in the mountains north of Silver City New Mexico. Travel was slow, requiring the use of 4 wheel drive, the sun was setting and snow started to fall when this picture was taken. We made it to town about 6 hours later only to learn the road had washed out earlier in the year and was supposedly closed.
