I was overly patient and got this shot right after he made a dive for a fish (and missed) and he just made it back to the bank and shook off the water like a big dog and "presto" my camera clicked! Tks for the great feedback!

Tks for the great feedback! I had to be really patient (waited for 25 mins) for him to make a dive for a fish and I got him just as he reentered his perch on the water bank.

DianePic.. Tks for the great feedback! I had to wait almost 30 mins for him to dive for a fish and after he missed, I got the shot just as he shook off the water and prepared to reset himself!

Thanks for the great feedback. He had just taken a dive in the pond for a fish (and missed) and I got him just as he shook off the water and started to re-stalk his prey. I had to wait (25 mins) for him to take the dive, but sometimes patients pays off!

I got lucky by being patient Nd waiting for him (25 minutes) to take a dive after a fish (he missed) and had just retreated to the band and shade to shake off the water on his feathers and prepare to stalk his prey again. Glad you liked it. It's one of my fags.
