Unlike many of the lager and more colonial species of Bee-eaters, this bird dose not attract much attention and because it has such a small range in Africa it has been little studied. The ideal place to observe Böhm's Bee-eater's in the Lengwe national park in Malawi. Although i had taken this Photo at lake Malawi. Where it is so common That in spring a dozen road side nest can be found early on one-day game drive. he name of this bird commemorates the German zoologist Richard Böhm.
