This is one of my favorite photographs from my 10 day backpacking trip in Glacier National Park. By this time of the hike, my feet have been wrapped in duck tape for four days. Every step was worth it. We came across a momma grizzly and her cub on the way down the mountain to Hidden Lake. Before descending, I relaxed right here, enjoyed a snack, and took in every breath of wind and beauty. I get lost in this photograph. I re-experience the feel of peace, beauty, and awe of God's creation.
