Every year during the breeding season, large flocks of Budgerigars. Numbering from hundreds to thousands, form flocks and fly in swooping and swirling formations as they move across the skies in search of water and food. The small flock I encountered and disturbed, were feeding on spinifex seeds in an arid region of central Western Australia.
