About five years ago, an otherwise healthy Neil woke up and realized he had suddenly lost his short term memory. He is stuck in now. He cannot create new memories. He cannot learn. The magnitude of this is beyond comprehension. As photographers though, you know what it is like to come home and anticipating unloading the shots from your camera to see how they have turned out. Neil, who goes out almost daily, does not remember even going out, much less taking the photos.
