Headed off tonight to try and catch the aurora. I was in two minds as it began to get cloudy when I headed off and it was late... It was worth staying up for. I decided to go anyway and head to Fort Dunree in Donegal. What an amazing sight! Hard to see with the naked eye but I set up the camera on the tripod and I was blown away with the colours in the sky. This image is made up of 10 separate shots stitched together to make a wide angle panorama. The sky was truly green for St Patricks day.
