Starling Aggression

Siskin versus Goldfinch

Juvenile starlings squabbling. They are so aggressive and the feathers often fly.

The male kingfisher waits patiently whilst the female watches the stream for minnows. Many photographs show kingfishers in action but I like the story

Looking over to Arran on a summer evening. One straight image then 2 in camera motion. Layers combined then 3 seagulls brought back through.

Dive

This image was taken late in the day just as a storm was rolling in. 5 minutes later we were soaked and in the middle of a thunder storm.

A case of being in the right place at the right time. This young buzzard was very obliging and sat whilst I got my camera. He didn't mind the car

Red squirrels can still be seen in south west Scotland.

Although it looks as if these birds were kissing it was a really nasty fight. The siskin was very aggressive and managed to chase away the greenfinch

I had gone out to catch a sunset but the storm clouds swept in and the lighting was amazing. We got drenched about 2 minutes later.

I've been playing around with Corel essentials. Not sure about it as yet but enjoying trying to create a different look to my nature images.
