Stopping by lake Ontonagon for a brief view of the setting sun we came across these newly hatched damsel flys. They live in the lake until the time is right, come to shore and shed their case to emerge as the fly we see near most every lake. This one is drying its translucent wings so that it will be able to fly away onto the next part of its lifetime!
