This is the Rosette nebula is an amazing nebula with beautiful colors. It is located near the Orion constellation. This image was taken with what is called narrowband. Special filters are used to only collect light only from burning hydrogen, sulfur, and oxygen. Just like looking at the different colors in the flames of a fire, the different temperatures produce unique images. When the images are processed, they display an incredible depth that is hard to comprehend with ghostlike clouds overlapping each other. After focusing on the cloud formations, focus on the stars and imagine our solar system wrapped around each one.
