This absolutely captures my attention and mind in every way. The mist, the poles, the running water, the chain that you can nearly touch, the light that is creeping in, oh. I love this.

It's nice to hear that people seldomly recognize what is exactly in the picture, but nevertheless like it so much:)
Just for the record: what you are lookin at is the inside of an old shimney. On the chain hangs a pot in which food is cooking above the fire.
Hope you still like it, after reading this:)

Ahhh, Jan, having read your reply above, now understand what is the beautiful and ethereal lighting/shadowy forms :-)
... may have understood sooner, if not for one letter - an S where there should be a C > Chimney :-D
Such is life with a world of so many different languages :-))

Wonderfully seen and captured, Jan, the graininess of a high ISO and slower shutter speed certainly add to the chain/chimney silhouette and wispy movement of the steam :-)) Ell
