Recently I was in Italy with an educational/school touring group, and I was unofficially chosen to be my friends photographer throughout the trip, although I was not the only one with a camera. While in Venice, we rode a gondola that had a rough start, due to the fact my teacher almost tipped it. This photo is the result of water splashing over the sides, and it is my attempt to capture the beauty of the moment when they were utterly surprised yet overjoyed.
