I took this photo at Redcliffe Plantation State Historic Site in South Carolina. The door is one of two doors to the old slave cabin. Something about the contrast of the light from the open door and the darkness on the inside of the cabin, knowing that this very room used to house slaves told me this could be a powerful image if people understood where it was taken.
