Aurora in Kellyville

Loon on nest just before the sun dipped below the horizon.

Not a great image (high iso, dark and rainy day in a dark forrest) but I still like the tunnel like surroundings and the soft light.

Spend an hour getting close to this one feeding in the sun. Walked a few meters then stopped for some pictures and then repeat.

Arctic hares are black and white. So this image is very close to the original

Ran across this guy on one of my daily trips with my dog. Had never seen one in the area before. Was lucky enough go get close for some pictures.

This is my best kingfisher so far. Still a long ways to go!

Playing at being a kangaroo!

While taking a rest this one almost landed on me. It stuck around long enough for a picture too!
