I managed to capture this at the perfect moment when the butterfly landed on the fingertip of the granddaughter of our church's secretary at the butterfly release. I love this photo because the butterfly is beautiful, yet delicate and it looks like it is learning to fly again. I used this photo to create a logo for my parents' church (they are pastors) for a new outreach group that the church is having. It is called Becoming Whole Again, and it is for women who have been in emotionally, physically, or verbally abusive relationships who need a safe place to heal as they become whole again and restore their identity and who God created them to be.
