The story:
Photo made on River Arade, near Portimão. This shot was only possible with low tide. Even though there is a highway near this spot, it is almost unexplored in photographic terms. After one mile walk in an extremely narrow path, with water and mud on both sides, you need to cross an abandoned and very unstable water mill, where you can finally find these water carved streams of water.
