Beautiful old stone bridge, Mick! Love the silky water effects and the reflections, this sure looks inviting!

Thanks Daisy! That was a few seconds exposure, hence the motion blur effect.

Thanks Louise! Thank goodness I took a few shots because some were scrapped as they missed the focus (I think it was the vibration of the shutter).

Thanks, H! Believe you me, this was a relatively easy one. It only needed me to shift 200 yards from the Inn I stayed, LOL!

simply brilliant capture Mick. This nice long exposure caught the moment perfectly.

Thanks a lot, Paul! This shot was taken well into the dusk and was a few seconds exposure, enough to motion-blur the flow of water and add to its silkiness. Behold the Monnow Bridge, in Monmouth, South Wales, the only remaining bridge with its gate situated on it. It was built somewhere in the mid-13th century and has seen awful lot of historical events unravelling.

Thanks Dave! At that time when the crowds had gone, the moment was right...

This is beautiful. Lovely lighting and really love the light on the smooth flowing water! I haven't been to Wales yet. I think I need to go soon!

Thank you, Cindy. Moodiness is something that abounds this country, in many ways.

This picture reminds me of a very old Brüder Grimm book, long ago. I could not read it, it was in old German gothic print, but every picture was a mesmerizing and magical work of art. this photo would have fitted that lovely book perfectly, mood and blue greenish tones... Wonderful!

I was there again in mid-October, Kristina, when I took the first two photos on my wall. The landlady of the pub I stayed at (both times) has got a canvas print of this one hanged on her wall.
