In October 2015, I rescued this neglected 10 year old blind dog from a kill shelter. I had hoped cataract surgery could restore his sight but it was sadly followed by a detached retina. While he can't see, over the past month and a half he's added some weight, regained a beautiful coat, and become a happy, loving member of my family.
