Just curious what editing software everyone is using. I have more editing software than I know what to do with, but the ones I use the most are Corel PaintShop Pro Photo X2 (with a few plugins) and ACDSee Pro. I also have Adobe Photoshop CS3, and have been forcing myself to try to learn it, but that is a never ending process... LOL.
So, what do you use to edit your photos?

I use Photoshop exclusively, starting with Version 7, then CS(1), and now CS3. I both love and hate how there are so many ways to do the same thing, BUT, it makes it difficult to learn which way is best. My other editing program is called Maryleeusa, who does a lot of improvements to my photos. She uses Corel.

I use Photoshop, still learning. If I don't know how to do something I google it including "in photoshop" and go thru tutorial. I also downloaded GIMP for free to my work computer (so I can play with my pics when I'm bored, lol). With plug in it looks like photoshop and it works like it. I'm also learning it with tutorials I find in Google.

I highly recommend the Nik Color Efex Pro 3 plugin for PS and PSP. I am having so much fun editing photos I never thought I'd ever do anything with. If you shoot a lot of landscapes, it's worth it just for the Polorization and Neutral Density filters. It also has a skylight filter and a sunshine filter (among MANY other ones).

I use several different editing programs. I use Corel PSP X2, Photoshop CS3, as well as Picasa 3.

Gimp, UfRAW and Cs3 all to make the picture better. I do try to not use anything at all if possible.

I use Photoshop CS4 and Aperture. I must agree with architect when it comes to Photoshop...I hate how there is several ways to do the same thing. But I am still learning all the wonderful things it has to offer. :)
