Before the Storm

The Yungas mountains during September experience many tropical storms. We snuck up to this lookout to watch the late afternoon haze kiss the mountains. To the left, the clouds are blurred, implying the rain storm that was to come. The rain was torrential for 30 minutes. After the storm died, we looked back for our lookout and saw that the skies had lost their haze and the clouds had dropped several thousand feet to dot around the mountains.
