Visited the Snow Bowl (Base 9,100ft.) in Arizona in June. Expected typical AZ weather. Instead encountered rain at about the 10,000 feet level. Continuing to rise on the chair lift some of the rain turned to soft hail. Having no raincoat I was totally soaked with water and battered by hail. The temperature at the top of the lift (11,100ft.) was 58 degrees. Great way to spend a June day!
