Dentzel Carousel Co built this in 1923 in Philadelphia, PA. It ran there until 47. In 1950 it was moved to Fair Park in Dallas for the State Fair of Texas and has remain since. Many original horses are still in tact. Many new ones have been added. My granddaughter rode this today for her first visit to the fair. She's 4. If she's like me, she'll go ever year from now on.
