This pic was taken in a "brown bar" (a bar that only serves traditional dark beers) in Amsterdam.
The time is 0130. The ambient light is red, from a few lamps dotted around the room (cosy!). This was a candid shot under ambient light, the 3 people at the table never knowing that it was taken. Notice that the tea light on the table is rendered in a yellowish light, exactly as you'd expect to see it, despite the red ambience.
