The death rocks lived up to their name on Saturday afternoon after losing my footing and smashing my wide angle lens to pieces. Luckily my camera is still intact as the lens took the full brunt of the impact. I had only been there 20 minutes and had only taken a handful of shots so had to pack up and head straight back home in a huff. It could have been a lot worse I suppose and at least I can look forward to a brand new lens through my insurance. Here's one of the few shots I managed to take before it all went Pete Tong.
