I haven't lost the touch, I would like to think, Paul I think I have been restricted with time. This photo was taken on the way back to the car after a long walk. I had the 85mm prime attached to the camera, which is very sharp, so I thought I'd take my chances with the sunlight. There is something about fields of rye at this time of year that feels irresistible.

This photo reminds me of one of Monet's paintings. color tones, and darker in the F/G, gets lighter in the B/G with brush strokes.....Gorgeous image, Mick!!

Thank you, my dear Daisy! This photo was taken on my way back to the car, after a rather dull and unfrutful day in the fields. When I was the sun dipping I unpacked the bag quickly and took a few ahots. There is a bit of flare here and there but with certain lenses this effect is unavoidable. Now that you have mentioned it, your comments and perception of the photo match its title. I couldn't think of anything more appropriate. I hope you are well x

Thanks Liz! Timing is everything and timing is often the luck of the draw. This fortunate moment was on the descend from a hill after a rather disappointed session.
