I captured this Rufous Hummingbird darting fast and furious through the bushes at the Santa Cruz Arboretum. This is a smaller Hummer known for its orange coloring, shorter wings, amazing speed and maneuverability. It was also very challenging to try and photograph...unless he was sitting on a branch...but then I still had to be quick, because he did not sit too long! ; )
