I did this Project for my final for Photography 2 class this semester and I wanted to share it. It is a study in nature. I can remember the first time, as a boy I touched the softness of our family cat when I was three. I over the years have become very close to nature. My wife calls me the animal whisper. I don’t know I always had a good relationship with animals. They let me get really close to them like I talk to them or something. Like they know I am not there to hurt them. Many of the pictures here I took on a journey tough Cleveland. I went thought the Metroparks, the zoo, around my house, and in Amish country, but still Ohio. Some of the animals it was very hard to watch them. It is like they were so sad. I could feel their sadness. Look at the eyes of the animals, their spirt will talk back to you. Animals always let you know where you stand. It is honest. They say I am hungry and want to eat you or I like you. Man doesn’t understand this. We are only tenants in this world. We live alongside many life forms, and we need to respect them all. Think about it this way “Well, you see, Aborigines don't own the land. They belong to it. It's like their mother. See those rocks? Been standing there for 600 million years. Still be there when you and I are gone. So, arguing over who owns them is like two fleas arguing over who owns the dog they live on.” By: Michael J.
