My two friends and I had always dreamed of doing a cross country road trip and seeing the states. We live in Kansas but have always been drawn to the West. After graduating we decided to bite the bullet and make it happen. We left our Midwest comfort and headed to the mountains. We camped along our route for 2 1/2 weeks including stops in Wyoming, Colorado Springs, Carmel, CA and Zion National Park, but no sight could compare to the beauty of Lake Tahoe. This picture I took after climbing the cliff face of Eagle Rock. It's a sight I'll never forget.
