I shot this hidden fall with a model and then everyone and their mother wanted to know where - I told them it's a secret, and I'm keeping it that way. (Besides, I had to carry him out there, cause I had the waders on!) Only in Alaska.......near Girdwood....down a Hidden Trail.....hush and listen - you shall find it.

It was late summer early in the am. I was visiting a friend who lives in that house at the trail head and he was like walk up there further...and bam - there she was! This was my first time shooting here too. And I did not edit this photo except to sharpen it a tad. I now have been there many times and have a super wide lens. It's crazy how much it changes. Have you hiked up further? or even crossed the bridge down below? There are a ton of spots out there that you would like. Also, head up to Alyeska and take the trail to the gorge. (Winner Creek Trail) Don't be afraid to crawl down there too. Cross the bridge then veer down on the left, cross over to the right and there are two very large boulders, then once there turn and look back up the creek!!! Absolutely stunning!!!! Don't fall in - it's hella deep and cold and has a bit of suction to it. Trust me, I know!
