This shot of a pregnant female leopard drinking water late at night in the most desolate dessert like land in the Kgalagadi. It was my last night in the wild and I insisted on staying up well past the point of the light turning off in the hide, I all of sudden heard black back jackals crying out to one another creating a alarm to warn others of a predator in the area, I saw a glims of something bigger than a jackal emerge only by the faint light of the moon, as i turned my torch on, only to see this beautiful elusive creature getting her fill of gold in this dry arid land.
She disappear into the night without a trace only leaving behind my picture.
