"Boot" is a working cowboy at the Grand Canyon Ranch outside of Meadview, Arizona - just west of the Grand Canyon. The image was made with a Nikon D800 and a 24-70mm f/2.8G lens, set at 48mm. ISO 100, f/6.3, 1/500 sec and a Nikon SB-600 Speedlight to make him "pop" a bit more against the background of horses.
