As the sun was setting on a windy evening, I went to Arklow South Beach to see if I could capture some waves, which, while nothing to write home about, looked incredible thanks to the way the light hit them that evening.

I first attempted to get some pictures of the pier head at the other side of the wall, but I decided to then go to the beach itself to use the sand alongside the foam in the waves, as a leading line to bring the viewer's eye to the lighthouse in the background of the image.
