Man at Work

This man started scrubbing that stone sculpture in China town with a small piece of sandpaper to clean it. He is homeless and just gave himself something to work on. I have a lot of respect for what he was doing. I’m thankful that he allowed me to take this picture, which he didn’t even want to look at. “I don’t want to see myself like this”.... For me, the best I can do with it, is trying to raise awareness of what is going on out there. It seems that there are more and more people living on the streets and it doesn’t need much to get there.
