This is the exle of an ancient steam locomotive on display in a public park in Hiroshima, Japan.
Compared to Japan's super-modern rail system, this is a dinosaur.
It is now a popular photo motive, exuding simplicity and innocence in a city devastated by technology. Even though it was in use after May 8, it looks old enough to have "survived" that fateful day.
