Cheers Keith! Now that you have mentioned it, it is a crying shame that you can't produce a picture like this with a DSLR (as you have to remove the eyepiece of the telescope and attach the lenseless DSLR to the focuser). Looking at some recent pictures of the Moon I have taken, I think my telescope needs collimation (alignement), which can be a bastard of a job. I had dismantled it to clean the mirrors and I think I have to collimate it again. I am not quite sure about the sharpness of recent images. And it is a good telescope...

Cheers Linda! It was as good as it could possibly have been. I think I might need to buy a webcam, take a few seconds video, average the frames and synthesise a noise-free image of the Moon.
