Hmm.. The backstory.
Well, I've been doing photography ever since I was around 8. Back then, my dad took me out to tulip festivals, horse shows and the such to teach me how to shoot. He had the whole Canon camera, huge telescopic lens, heavy set up. I think that because I learned how to shoot at such a young age, I was able to pull of this shot. It's a great composition, but the backstory really sells it.
Since I had learned photography at such a young age, I can take good photos with nearly anything. I decided to call this one "Blind Fairy Tale" because the picture almost looks like it's from a fairy tale. The blind part reflects how I took the photo - Completely blind. I couldn't see anything. This landscape was taken with a GoPro Hero 2 sports action camera. It has absolutely no viewing screen, and is primarily used to take action videos. I climbed up a tree, and snapped a photo. Not thinking much of it, I kept on enjoying my day.
When I was checking out the photos on the laptop a few hours later, this beautiful scenery popped out. And my most beautiful landscape scenery was born =)
