I was an overland guide in Africa for many years and have always found Malawian fishing culture to be a very fascinating and humbling experience. During an early morning hike on the banks of Lake Malawi near Chitimba, I saw that together with these dramatic clouds this composition could work wonderful. Such hard workers these men, and that for a tiny load of fish that will have to be done again the following day or two, a never ending job in a self-made dug-out wooden canoe with no engine. The tranquility in this image speaks chapters of the warmheartedness of its people. Zikomo Kwambili
