I created this close up photo of a baby Bornean Orangutan at the Lowry Park Zoo during a day shoot there in early August of 2018. They are an extremely endangered species due to poaching and deforestation issues. The only place that Bornean Orangutans are known to survive in the wild is the Island of Borneo. They are extremely intelligent and routinely use tools in their daily lives. This baby Bornean Orangutan was taking a short break from his play and provided me the opportunity to create this animal photo of him or her.
