For 15 years Ike shared his kindness, love and life with me and my family. He was their from conception to middle school for my boys. A New Yorker by birth he trekked out west with us where he took in two feral kittens and taught them, like us the value of respect and honor. He passed from cancer recently. My heart breaks every day I wake up and he is not sleeping in my arm. I like to think his spirit needed to keep on trekking. He's off in space no to other worlds to teach others by example. That's what I need to believe. So i took a photo I took of him and created this image, just as it is in my head.
