Part of a series chronicling the demolition of Stanford University's Meyer Library. A relic of the 1960s, it was torn down after a seismic assessment determined that doing so would cost less than the required retrofits. The demolition largely took place at the end of winter into spring, bathing the construction site in the famous California sunlight - and here, a rainbow formed in the hose spray.
