Here is my first official image using the new VSCO 05 Film. The main coloring is the 'Agfa Vista 400 Portrait' Film. I darkened the blues, creamed the highlights, added green to the shadows, sharpened the whole image, added the top sunlight, warmed up the fire and cooled down all of the corners, and finally added a touch of grain to the image to make it filmic. All of the fire, smoke, ice blocks, raven, and deer are real and shot on location.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS! Absolute and utter chaos! The deer is cracking me up a bit (feels like a photobomb!).
I really love that the image is so very detailed. Highlights are perfect. Shadows are not too dark. Midtones and detail are incredible. I can see the tiny crystals in the ice blocks. I am not sure how or WHY you did this, but you are the best. And the fact that this is a self portrait makes me think you should just win everything.

Thank you so much!! I have to give some credit to the outstanding image quality of the D800...it's a monster at great photos. I love self-portraits, not because it's me in image, but because taking an entire composite image..or should I say images...by myself is such a challenge. So much fun. Thanks again for your comment!
