Gary

This shot was taken on a trip to Gary, IN which is considered by many to be a ghost town. As the steel industry began to move away and decline, so did the population of Gary - whose inhabitants heavily relied on the industry for employment. The town is now rife with abandoned buildings, making it a Mecca of sorts for urban explorers. I found this sticker stuck to an empty street sign in front of the Palace Theatre, one of many abandoned buildings (you can clearly see the boarded up windows in the background).
