It rained constantly from Fall 2016 through Spring 2017 in South California. Consequently, there was an over-growth of flowers around the Antelope Valley region and poppies covered the area in Orange. On spotted locations, you could find patches of yellow flowers and rarely there were shades of pink and purple. According to some volunteers, the fields looked fuller than they had in the past decade, given the constant California drought. Research the place before you go, trust me, make a list of all the things you could need because its windy, crowded and a little warm out there.
