I recently lost a friend to cancer and have been struggling through the grieving process. I needed to reconnect and find comfort in his passing. I knew where I needed to go. Off to the lakefront in the wee hours of the morning at -15 degrees. I was met with this sunrise and was immediately comforted. I walked away feeling content and at peace in knowing that my friend is in a better place and is in safe hands.

This is the classic shot of Bond Falls but the water flow and the colors on the trees are ever changing making each shot unique.

My two favorite things to photograph are Fall colors and waterfalls so when I found both in the same place I felt like I had died and gone to heaven!
