I was going through a box of Christmas decorations recently and I found this ornament that was a string of these clear jewels. I quickly became enamored by their geometric shape and how they reflected light. So out of curiosity, I held one of the jewels up to my eye so I could look through it. I discovered that it had this wondrous kaleidoscope-esque effect when pointed at light. I then held it up to my camera lens and pointed it at various sources of light around my room, resulting in the final photos!
