a wedding in Tahoe CA, I created this cake specifically modeled after the mountains and trees my niece and her new husband love to hike and ski. no fondant, straight homemade icing for this beauty. the bride's brother created the stand, and the bride baked hand pies for her groom in addition to coordinating a whole wedding - that is love! as a bonus, I had to create this in high altitude and with no dairy!
