So in my first year of university we got lumbered with a put a pin on the map, where your pin lands you have to go and photograph the thing you find most interesting there. Well at the time I hated my area I couldn't drive so had to ask for lifts. In the area was nothing of interest to me to photograph. The only mildly interesting thing at the start was the church with a graveyard. This then became a great deal of interest to me. You could see how the generations of the deceased had slowly forgotten the graves and how they graves them selves to put morbidly we decomposing themselves. It was strangely stunning. We had to shot in what I think is a timeless form of black and white film.
