A walk through the forest in early winter revealed this baby Owl on a eye level branch. It was so camouflaged that I never saw her until it made some noise to warn me to stay away. When I pointed my camera at it she raise up her wings to appear larger and more intimidating. After this photograph I left her alone in peace to grow big and strong.
