I took a group to Kenya this year, and after a few hours of seeing very little we wondered upon a small pride of Lions, with their cubs. We all sat quietly watching the lioness trying to keep her cubs from wondering too far. At their age they could be easily picked off by other predators. Once she got them together and could tell they were going to stay still, she took a much needed rest. I knew if we were patient it would pay off, and it did. This image was made with a Canon 5DMKIV and the Tamron 150-600 lens.
